FHDU presenter
The Legal Genealogist is beyond thrilled to be able to confirm it — it’s official now.
I’ll be returning to Australia in March 2021 to be one of the presenter team at Family History Down Under, a multi-day-multi-track event sponsored by Unlock the Past on Australia’s Sunshine Coast.
I’m the third of seven headliners to be announced — along with Blaine Bettinger and Paul Milner — so there will be four more international speakers revealed in the coming days, and the whole team will include the best that Australia and New Zealand and the rest of the world have to offer.
It’s an honor to be one of this team.
Now… a special note to my U.S. readers.
Come on.
You know you want to.
Australia is simply amazing. Where else can you hold a koala, pet a wallaby, feed a kangaroo, and listen to a kookaburra laugh?
Yes, it’s a long plane ride. Yes, air travel can be expensive. But hey… we have 15 months to plan and save up for this!
Come on.
You know you want to.
Save the date: March 22-26, 2021 for Family History Down Under.
And let’s see some American faces in the crowd of attendees.
You know you want to…

Congratulations!
Thanks! I sure hope to see a bunch of U.S.-type faces Down Under!
I was in Australia and New Zealand last year. They are amazing! Yes, it’s costly and a long flight. But a great place to visit at least once in a lifetime. And I simply loved the pictures you posted from your last Australia visit. Enjoy even more your second time around!
This will actually be my fourth trip — I was there for the Unlock the Past cruise to NZ and Australia in 2016, after speaking in NZ in 2017, and for the AustralAsian Congress in 2018. And every time I’m just gobsmacked at the beauty…
Welcome back. I enjoyed your presentations in 16, am looking forward to listening to you in 21. I live on the Sunshine Coast
Wonderful! Enjoy
Hi Judy
That’s great news. And enough to ensure I attend the conference. I went to the last one in Canberra and Sydney this year. But will now definitely attend in 2021. It will be great to meet you in person.
Looking forward to meeting you!
