… from today’s office window …
On Facebook, The Legal Genealogist tries to post a daily image to capture the view from today’s office window.
In ordinary times, it’s likely to be a scene from a busy airport.
In recent days, it’s been things like raindrops or squirrels that look like drowned rats.
But I awoke this morning to a straight light, and was amazed when I looked outside.
Can you imagine what’s out there today?
It’s something we haven’t seen in this part of the mid-Atlantic for days now.
It’s apparently called “the sun.”
And it’s warm and beautiful.
The azaleas are blooming.
The dogwoods are blooming.
Even the pines are growing new pine cones.
Grab your mask. Grab your camera. Even if it’s just in your yard or on your block and definitely while maintaining a safe social distance, get out of the house.
You’re welcome.

lovely! I feel the same way today – bright sunlight is such a blessing after so many dismal days.
Dear Judy, what a fabulous description of the world today! Yes, today is a lovely day; thank you!
Here in Kentucky, we have the PERFECT day for the Kentucky Derby — not cold, not raining, like in so many years past. Of course, we don’t HAVE the Derby due to the coronavirus, but many of my friends are celebrating anyway. Virtually. Until the postponed Derby in September.
Glad you have something good so you can smile and be a bit happier.
