A correction
Sigh… even proofreading isn’t always enough.
The words may be right, but the order has to be right too.
So let’s try one more time for these upcoming events in October:
• CORRECTION: Friday, 18 October, 9:50 a.m. EDT: The Virginia Genealogical Society begins its two-day virtual Fall Conference. I’m presenting twice on Friday, with the virtual talks Finding Virginia Law and Crows Heads and Squirrel Scalps: Early Virginia Laws. For more information and to register, watch the event page (info coming soon!).
• CORRECTION: Saturday, 19 October, 8:30 a.m. PDT (11:30 a.m. EDT): The Ventura County (CA) Genealogical Society is hosting its 2024 Annual Seminar, From Murder to Methods: Using Genealogical Records. The four lectures for the day are Death by Undue Means – Coroner’s Records; NARA Mythbusters: Your Family IS in the Archives; Putting Those Records to Work; and When Worlds Collide: Resolving Conflicts in Genealogical Records. For more information and to register, see the event page.
Sorry about that…
