Wouldn’t it be amazing…

Nothing more can be said…

“The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy, instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Amen, brothers and sisters. Amen.
Yeah, we just LOVED the heck out of those nazis.
Actually, with something called the the Marshall Plan we helped to rebuild Germany, Italy and Japan, along with our European allies. This strategy proved a lot more successful in killing off support for the Nazis than the punitive actions imposed on Germany after WWI.
A very sad day but why do we care less when a similar thing happens in amazing Istanbul…another beautiful city.
We shouldn’t care less, no matter where it happens or to whom. But you’re right that we do… and that is sad.
Your post goes along with this video my church put out about our missionaries sharing the Christian message of peace. The mission president there did this interview about the safety of the missionaries and mentioned that we will continue to share this message. Thanks for sharing the meaningful meme. https://youtu.be/BLyyTcSJFys
Thank you Judy. I have always wondered why bookstores have so many sections dedicated to war and none to peace. We study wars in school – not peace. At least many universities have peace Studies programs. Why don’t we have peace video games?
Maybe there is hope on the video game front at least. See http://tech.co/bandura-games-peace-via-games-2015-10 and http://www.peacemakergame.com
I love the black upside down triangle in the design.
