Well, okay, so not exactly
The Legal Genealogist is on the road again — in Ohio!
At the Ohio Genealogical Society conference in Sandusky.
This is a terrific BIG conference, with multiple tracks and multiple speakers… and lots and lots of chances for fishing.
Fishing for a visit with old and dear friends.
Fishing for DNA cousins you haven’t met in person before.
Fishing for new friends.
Fishing for time:
• time to spend in the exhibit hall.
• time to go listen to other speakers you want to hear.
• time to spend with like-minded folks with the passions for family and stories that only genealogists really have.
And landing some of those fish means (gasp) letting the blog go for a day or two or even three.
I’ll survive.
I hope you will too.
In the meantime, go catch yourself a fish.
On behalf of the citizens of NE Ohio I apologize for the less than stellar weather during your visit. We usually try to be more hospitable to our guests.
Since OGS was at an indoor resort, the Ohio weather wasn’t an issue, Pat! But next time, I’d appreciate it if the midwest would wring out the clouds better before sending them east. (Ohio was fine — New Jersey got socked!)
Hope you found a dry basement upon your return home. Your sessions were great; we will look forward to your return to Ohio next spring.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Judy! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Ohio next year!
