You didn’t miss it!

Did you make it to the National Genealogical Society conference last week in Richmond, Virginia?

It was fabulous.

The host Virginia Genealogical Society, conference co-chairs Jan Alpert and Barbara Vines Little, and a veritable legion of volunteers get very high marks for a very fine job.

And if there was anything those of us who did make it to Richmond heard over and over and over again it was this:

“Wish I was there.”

And you still can be.

At least for some of the sessions.

You see, this year, for the very first time, the National Genealogical Society livestreamed some of the sessions. Those who couldn’t afford the time, who couldn’t leave home, had the chance to see and hear some of the very best speakers the genealogical community has to offer.

And even if you didn’t sign up before… even if you missed it all… you can still see those presentations in what’s now called NGS On Demand.

Ten lectures — five in each of two tracks — are still available for online viewing, and you can sign up through May 31st. Once you’ve signed up, you can watch any or all of them as many times as you’d like for 90 days. And the tracks and included lectures are:

The pre-conference price was $65 for each track for NGS members and $80 for non-members, or you can bundle the two together for $115 for NGS members or $145 for non-members.

But don’t forget it — because the package can only be purchased through the end of this month. And having the best of NGS come to you in your own home is too good a deal to miss.
